Living the life of a writer sometimes feels like having a constantly-spinning hamster wheel in my brain, with an entire colony of hamsters who’ve broken into my espresso stash. When I’m not writing, I’m thinking about writing, or discussing writing, or teaching writing. While the lines between work and play often become blurred, when I write, whether for pleasure or professional gain, I do so for the mere joy of the craft. Over the years, my blog has become my writing catch-all bowl: a place to collect and display my work, but also a medium for practicing my craft that will give the brain-hamsters a playground in which to release their mad energy. Here you’ll find a myriad of posts on topics ranging from reviews of books I’m currently reading to ramblings about my (mis)adventures navigating the world as a person with a disability. I always welcome feedback, so if you see anything that sparks your interest and you want to engage, feel free to leave a comment!
I adore: fluffy pillows, peanut butter sandwiches, blackberry wine, BBC Drama, Jane Austen, The Big Bang Theory, and Colin Firth films.
Fun factoids: I cannot snap my fingers, I hate raisins but adore oatmeal-raisin cookies, and I am afraid of wax-works.
